Filly Chardonnay 2024
Our third vintage of the Filly Chardonnay, and this 2024 is a real winner!
Reviewed by Master Sommelier Cameron Douglas:
“Ripe, pure fruited, flinty and mineral, aromas of fresh yellow and white peach then grapefruit peel and baking spices. A touch of wood smoke, nut and vanilla round out the bouquet. A dry wine touches the palate with a seam of barrel spice and lees then flint and peach. Plenty of weight and satin texture then red apple and citrus. The seam of peach scents from the boquuet evolve into flavours across the palate. Acidity and fine tannins add mouthfeel and robustness. Well made and ready for drinking from late 2025 through 2032+.”
